A Tale of Two Auctioneers

Christopher Burge - With Burge your bidding is part of a conversation. He engages you and you respond. It's a civilized process, entertaining and convivial for both. He wants you to be happy.

Mr. Meyer - With Mr. Meyer it is business. Relaxation is not on the table. He challenges you. You feel like you're playing against the house and every bid he takes is a challenge against you to which you must respond to hold your honor.

I've always enjoyed Burge's auctions. Meyer is work.
