1. The ball from the missed FG would've, if Hester downed it, put the Bears at their own 42, not the 20. That's where the kick was missed from, and that's where the ball would be.

2. Jay Feely made the 46 yd FG with the wind and missed a 33-yarder against that same wind.

3. Thomas Jones had 10 carries for 5 yds. That's good D. Then he had 20 carries for 108 yds. VERY BAD D. I'd say that's pretty paltry run defense in the end.

4. Despite the loss of Petitgout, they blocked WELL for Manning? Early 3rd Qtr. Whitfield gives up two plays to Alex Brown that set a different tone for Manning and the football Giants!

5. The NY Defense was good for half the game; notice how they gave up more yards rushing, many more points (even minus Hester's return) and easy first downs over the middle. If the Offense played to THAT level, the score may have been a touchdown closer, but they would've still lost.

6. Eli Manning had a bad game, but the Giants have reasons to keep their heads up. The team they lost to, Chicago, had a much worse loss the week before to a much worse team. Not that New York is a better team, I think the Bears proved who's the NFC's top dog (whatever that's worth) but the Giants were a lot closer than it seems people think.
