I congratulate your paper for the view that a story sometimes has more than one side.

It is unfortunate that any creature has to live in conditions that require it to seek out gargage and the throwaways of humans, feral cats, packs of wild dogs or other animals with domestic counterparts rarely get the bad press of the maligned Rat, they are simply survivors, and social creatures that are just trying to live.

I personally believe that feral cats and dogs and the like can carry as much disease as has been blamed on the rat, the sad part of the comentary is that with overpopulation the rat becomes another hungry animal fighting for life, where else would a hungry animal go but to the bins of our throwaway society?

I believe that rats have their unique place in the grand plan of nature, but a humane plan for controlling their overpopulation in the wild is needed for their sake.

I think that Drusilla Kehl was a fantastic interview source for your article, such a gifted person.
