Defending & Lending The Louvre's Name

'...states are founded to protect its diversity.' God given (Donnedieu) or not, Mr. de Vabres has obviously been sent on a mission to polish up the 'rayonner' of the French image through these cultural 'loans.' The state of France is currently a mess. The French have surrendered a good deal of their Frenchness so prominent after WW II to their Muslim invaders. Not only has the Louvre abandoned it's French-ness, previously they exhibited only objects which France culturally 'touched on' but now they are giving over a courtyard to all Islamic art. This is such an obvious sell-out to the new immigrant nation. I found it interesting that Philippe de Montebello didn't go to France to be Legionaired, instead he got his medal or lapel pin or whatever it is here in New York where the event could be burried under the carpet and not made a sore press point for the French by doing it in Paris.
