Judge Dismisses Brooklyn Bridge Park Lawsuit

The park, as it was: All greenery, trees, benches..., is changing. capital is slowly encrouching even that which would otherwise be 'sacred public property'. The joy is no longer in mere relaxation; people want to go where they can spent. Separating spending from 'a sunday afternoon family walk in the park' only leads to the park attracting the wrong crowd: Mostly those who don't have anything to spent and in many cases ready to steal from those who have. To curb insecurity in any park, both the rich and the poor, men and women should be free to go to the park and relax in whatever ways they find joy in.
