Facts? Statistics? Where are the facts and statistics that prove the bible's phantasmagorical claims in the first place? Sounds like the columnist is fearful of science disproving beliefs he holds dear that are not based on proven facts, but rather traditions and stories passed down through generations.

It would be a miricle if someone could support the bible with facts and statistics, let alone disprove.
