Democrats Confronting? What have they been doing since Bush stepped in office? Obstructing and Confronting.. So, what's your point? The war resolution was not be the first time Congress has abdicated their Constitutional authority and responsibility so they could go into denial and blame someone else, i.e. control of money (given to the private banking system and calling it Federal--with Reserves). It is typical of the Congress to use the Constitution how ever it wishes when it fit their needs.

The Constitution should not be abused by Byrd either by throwing it on the table for emphasis or by distorting its contents. Thumping it is one thing, throwing it and drooling on it is quite another.
