In response to Alexanders comment. The number of human lives that Russians have taken & destroyed in the last 100 years is insurmountible. They did it with cold blood - genocide being their goal! I just want remind everyone reading his response that The Soviet Union - now Russia has killed millions of Poles. Just to give you some estimates from WWII (not including any previous conflicts). I will quote "The Soviet death machine in the Soviet-occupied half of Poland killed: 21,000 Polish officers murdered by the NKVD in the Katyn Forest and elsewhere. Between 1.6 million and 1.25 million Poles (the lowest estimate) were deported to Siberia and Kazakhstan between 1939-1941 as a result of Soviet ‘ethnic cleansing'.An estimated four-fifths died either directly or as a result of privations incurred during the deportations. (well over a million!) State Security in the Soviet-occupied Poland between 1945-1955 murdered tens of thousands of political, military and intellectual leaders. Moscow's policies designed to debilitate the Polish nation included, among others, the following instruction: "While rebuilding the [Polish] industry and building new industry, make sure that industrial waste is directed to rivers which will be used as reservoirs of drinking water." (Arnold Beichman, "Soviet Directives Sought to Keep Poles from Developing Identity," Soviet genocidal policies directed at Poland were no less devastating than those of the Nazis. A study by French scientists has shown that ‘Those very features of Nazism that we find most repellent have now been proven endemic to communism from its inception. The Nazis' imitated the Soviet death machine! The Soviet occupation of Poland lasted nearly ten times as long as that of the Nazis. Even more ideologically corrosive than the Nazis, the Soviets devastated the lives of three generations of Poles, whose living conditions were made wretched, whose religion and culture were attacked with the full power of the office of state security." Studing its heavily corrupted and backstabbing politics along with its hateful & rutten morals that have been in practice for centuries; I would be sleeping with both of my eyes open! Extending peace and always on the defence. The USA has made mistakes in its war tactics, however, as a nation it has always been striving and promoting peace. If you belive in the law of karma that you what you send out is what you get then... this country is staying up and its power will only spread. For its' people have and do so much good in this world. People are allowed to speak out against their leaders and they exercise that right. We choose our government, the government does not reelect itself. Teresa Weinberg
