While Ibrahim concerns himself with isolated incidents involving relatively small numbers of people, the United States continues to lead the world in unilateral invasions of sovereign countries since World War II. Is anyone interested in overall context? As Sam Harris so compellingly points out, monotheism itself poses a threat to civilization. Chose your flavor- the Christian god George Bush "talks to" every day and doubtlessly approves of his unsupported aggression in Iraq or the murderous machinations of Mohammed's martyrs. Count up the dead bodies and you'll quickly see enough evidence to illustrate Christian, Jewish and Muslim death-making are the result of a "holy," anti-scientific alliance with politics. As such, no learning, no change is possible. Religion erects a shrine in honor of the sanctity of exclusive righteousness.
