If you were a small landlord who paid millions of dollars to invest in a small apartment building, how is it fair to let people rent a $3000/month apartment for $1000 or less in some cases. How is that the "rich forcing the poor out." Its a free market society and should be free market. If you can't afford it, move to Jersey or the boroughs. Its the landlords who are getting hurt because there is no shortage of would-be renters for high priced apartments.

You are an idiot and a communist if you can honestly say this is fair.
