Moscow May Break Arms-Reduction Treaty, Russian General Says

It is not surprising that Putin has taken the opportunity to usurp Bush's opt out from the Salt 11 Treaty that limits the number of nuclear warheads, because the U.S. wants to develope small tactical nuclear weapons for use on the battlefield. These are the same nukes that we are worried our enemies will end up using on us after being smuggled into the U.S. It is, apparently, ok for the U.S. to break treaties to further their strategic end, but frowned upon when another country want to do the same. And now that Bush has decided to furnish Europe with a missle defense system, it is totally understandable that the Russians are racheting up the rhetoric of breakin the intermediate range nuclear weapons treaty in order to put pressure on Bush to drop the missle defense system. Bush will eventually lead the U.S. into a third nuclear war with his heavy-handed tactics and apparent desire to rule the world. And we ought not to worry ourselves about North Korea or Iran as per the nuclear weapons delivery systems the MIGHT develope, but keep our eye on the REAL threat, Russia. They are back in the arms racem thanks to Bush and his war-mongering administration that has led us down a dark road with no apparent end in sight with Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea and Iran. We have made ourselves a target that has far too many new enemies to defeat, and that is what worries me most. John Bray
