Values change but the inescapable truth of Casanova " The mind obeys the body" lives on. The paradigm has always been true for mankind. In his time, Casanova was perhaps the least hypocritical and most daring human being around women; he indeed defied what we call "political correctness" -the peril of contemporary social ethics that people "act out". Nonetheless, the memories of Casanova glorify him for his permissiveness and indeed, many emulate him nowadays-secretly of course. Can the Casanova of yesteryears live that openly today? If not, has the society regressed in the area of daring? May be, our body has lost the ability to influence the mind in the Casanova territory.
