I am a pro-life, 2nd amendment, supply side Republican. One year ago, I would had said there was no way Rudy could get the nomination. Now I am ready to support him. The lack of viable nominees is the main reason. He is a proven tax cutter, was kicking Arafat's butt in 1995 when before that was cool and of course is very pro law enforcement. You don't even see the Democrats talking gun issues any more and I am sure Rudi knows this is electoral suicide. I am confident with him that after facing the NYT and the rest of the MSM for eight years as Mayor of New York and not "growing in office" ala John McCain, that Rudi can be trusted when he says he will appoint Judges in the Scalia, Thomas, Roberts mindset. We have had both Congress and the Presidency for awhile yet with no movement in a right to life amendment. Our best (and only hope) in the foreseeable future is with judges. A hard right VP running mate, perhaps Halley Barbour would seal the deal for me.
