It is widely known that the "true" Reagan conservative has some reservations with Rudy. His liberal social policies do not sit well with a good deal of the conservative base, yet his other qualities would seem to outweight those policies. In our attempt to select the right person for the job, we allow ourselves to be swayed by every little thing in a candidates resume. The Christian Right will have some issues on his divorces, the anti abortion crowd will have problems with his acceptance of Roe v. Wade as "Settled Law", etc. Our choice is simply, banding together and making him our Republican Candidate for President. His is by far the best choice to unhinge Hillary, and we all know we don't want to hear about another President Clinton.
