Rewriting Recent Art History

I would like to add a few facts to the review above. High Times, Hard Times: New York Painting 1967-1975 is a traveling exhibition organized and circulated by ICI (Independent Curators International), a non-profit contemporary arts organization based in New York. The accompanying catalogue mentioned in the review is co-published by ICI and DAP. The National Academy Museum is the third venue on this tour, after the Weatherspoon Art Museum in Greensboro, NC, and the Katzen Center at American University in Wash., D.C.; following the New York presentation, the exhibition will travel to the Tamayo Museum, Mexico City. The National Academy has a wonderful history of presenting abstraction and will be an exciting setting for this exhibition.
