Fairway's Foie Gras Sign Irks Upper West Side Activists

Submitted by Andrea Reese, Feb 6, 2007 10:29

I am glad that Fairway removed that sign and I urge them to continue moving in a humane direction by discontinuing the sale of foie gras. I agree with the foie gras activists 100%. It amazes me that anyone would claim that foie gras production is humane after actually seeing the grotesque force feeding that it involves. Fairway is a popular store that will do just fine without supporting animal cruelty.
