nationalized healthcare is a fiscal and immigration nightmare staring at us. The dems are so hot to add yet another entitlement to the national budget, even though we can't pay for the ones we have now. One thing that government has proven to me is that when they do things they are inefficient, spend too much money and there is a huge amount of corruption. There is 5 billion dollars a year in medicare fraud in new york state alone! Imagine that number on a national level when our non for profit gov't starts to feed the for profit healthcare industry. The answer is not Canada the answer is the free market. Tax credits, lower corporate taxes with mandates to spend on healthcare, etc is the answer.
