Just saw your article today, and many good points. Here is an additional idea I just thought of. The UN is used so much for Israel-bashing that perhaps another reason among the good ones already mentioned for putting forth this Holocaust remembrance resolution is to try to add just a little balance to the exceedingly unbalanced anti-Israel culture there. It probably will not get through too far to some of the hard-headed states there who do the bashing, but perhaps every little bit helps.
