The Wicked West

For some time I have been an admirer of many of the other books by Dinesh D'Sousa. I could not understand how he could have gone so wrong with this one in his analysis of the "radical Islamist" threat

Now, it is clear! As Andrew so cogently demonstrates, Dinesh is so obsessed with fighting America's culture war with the Left that he seeks "allies" with the demonstratively murderous, Osama bin Laden, who represents "the stick" with which he ( D'Sousa) can ". . . beat those which he considers to be our naughtier, more godless citizens . . . ." If we do not reform our lecherous ways; run Britney and Lindsay out of town and watch out for those dastardly church socials, we will, indeed, bring down the wrath of Khan (al Qaeda) upon our heads. And what could be worst than this - a never ending war with al Qaeda and Islam.

But , contrarily, as Andrew, again, so appropriately emphasizes, sometimes "there really is no pleasing some people". No reform and no burning of Britney and Lindsay at the stake will end this struggle --- only the defeat of those, the Islamists, who want to bring back sharia and the Caliphate.
