Governor Romney's exact words were that "we have so cheapened the value and sanctity of human life in our society for someone to think there is not a moral issue because we kill human embryos at 14 days." The author came to a faulty conclusion when he said that "Mr. Romney is also making an appeal to science before faith by asserting that the embryos farmed at Harvard are living. If one interprets the quote by Gov. Romney close-mindedly as the author has, one can come to such a conclusion. But in the correct context, Gov Romney is merely saying that destroying embryos at 14 days cheapens life. He is not asserting that they are living, that is not the question here, but the author's spin of Gov. Romneys' words leads one to question this stilted article's legitimacy.
