When we're faced with weak-kneed Republicans, like Warner, Hagel, etc, who won't support the party's principles and, in this case, want to cut and run from a war that will just follow us home with horrific results, we ned to find some way to affect their conduct. Not voting for one of them in a general election is usually pointless because we're likelky to get an even worse Democrat for or troubles. Rarely, it's possible to support a viable primary opponent for one of these RINOs; but that doesn't have any impact on those who don't fear such opponents.

This leaves us with the financial strike option that's embodied in this resolution. A money cutoff is going to cause the Senatorial Committee real concern, concern they will convey in no uncertaihn terms to the RINOs who've caused it. That kind of pressure is probably more likely that anything else to cause those vile RINOs to alter thier conduct than anything else. In the intgerim, to make sure good candidagtes arfen't cur off, we can give our money either to the individiuals we know or to responsible organizations, like the NRA Political Victory Fund, which will make sure it goes to the right people.
