The Fog of a Long War

I believe it is the duty of the congressional think tank to come up with useable and feasible policy for the Iraq situation prior to taking rash actions which would be disastrous for the region and our nation. Miss 'Stating the Obvious' with her "If I'da known then what I know now..." just took a stagger back to the left for a moment... let's see how long it lasts. This folly vote on Iraq will have wasted precious time which should be devoted to other issues. Yes, if I'd have known then what I know now, things might be different. What was known? Hmmm ... Hussein gassing the Kurds, repeated violations of no-fly zones, Oil for Food providing other contraband besides food, UN resolutions calling for action, etc. Maybe members of Congress can come up with viable plans instead of just being empty cans making the most noise.

Looking forward to the return of the program.
