Because it lost 10 alumni and one parent on September 11; because the school's students, graduates, and parents consider themselves a part of a strong "Poly family"; because it is a school whose leaders and teachers are sensitive to and responsive to the needs of the Poly family. For all these reasons, a remarkable event took place last week to raise money for a scholarship fund that honors those Poly alumni killed on September 11. Read about it here.
